We’re thrilled to have Luong Nguyen Dang join us as a Polymer Chemist & Sustainable Materials Scientist during his work trial. With a strong background in polymer chemistry, materials science, and circular economy solutions, Luong is exploring innovative ways to valorize spent coffee grounds (SCG)—from eco-friendly coffee oil extraction to biocomposites and cellulose recovery.

Luong brings an impressive academic and professional background to our team. He earned a PhD in Polymer Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea, in 2009 and later worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Aalto University’s School of Chemical Engineering in 2015. With over 8 years of experience as a senior chemist in several Finnish companies in Espoo, he has been deeply involved in green chemistry innovations that support a more sustainable future.
